Having served 24 years in the Fleet-Air-Arm working on aircraft, it was a drastic career change into "Kitchens". The Re-Nu franchise looked very attractive and during the 10+ years of building up the business which is always ongoing, it has proved to be a good investment. All the franchisees have the benefit of the vast experience and back-up of our head office (Franchisor) which is very valuable. It is a rewarding business, Customer satisfaction being our number one priority, it is nice to see our customers so pleased with their investment. The Re-Nu business has provided a good standard of living for my family & plans for expansion makes the future look very good.
Trained in carpentry, I became a mining engineer and spent 27 years in that profession. Seeking self-employed status I signed up as a franchisee of Re-Nu in 1987.
The best aspect is the relationship with the franchisor. In general problems are resolved quickly, easily and amicably. An attitude of service prevails throughout the group, which of course leads ultimately to customer satisfaction.
It's a service business rather than a high production business.
